During the 1980s Paul was a songwriter and performer, touring nationally and
appearing on the CBS Records release Strange Language.
Transitioning into software in the early 1990s, Paul honed his development
skills on vertical market and retail applications, including Encore!
and MusicTime Deluxe, two music notation applications that are still
sold today.
Next, Paul moved into consulting and custom development at
Eagle Research, quickly
rising to the position of Development Manager. At Eagle, Paul worked on a wide
variety of platforms and led teams of designers and programmers. He also
developed a nasty Karaoke habit.
After a decade in software development, Paul realized a long held dream by
founding PJPM. Starting from a single client and an old laptop, he quickly built
up an organization based on fair value, experience, and hard work.
Paul is Microsoft Certified Professional and teaches at
AcademyX. He is currently President of
the Bay Area
Chapter of the Independent Computer Consultants Association.
