Access has been a crucial development platform for PJPM since the company was
founded. It offers a powerful combination of flexibility and rapid development
results. This proven platform is an "old faithful" solution for small business
needs.
Despite the convenience and effectiveness of Access, we don't recommend it for
all projects. For example, Access MDB files have limitations in the areas of
security and transaction throughput. It often makes sense to use the latest
version of SQL Server, including
the SQL Server Express edition, which offers all standard server features with
no licensing fee.
